For Solana builders

Creator fees become on-chart volume

TopBlast is a loss-mining protocol and chart volume engine. Each payout cycle market-buys your session token via Jupiter, airdrops tokens to the top 3 eligible underwater holders, and tracks lifetime buys as Gen volume in the catalog — real buy pressure for holders, not sell-side rebate volume.

Self-serve SaaS

Community tokens launch at /launch — mint, ticker, payout frequency, minimum token balance, and encrypted payout wallet. Each listing gets an isolated URL and cron session.

Hands-off ops

Choose payout frequency and minimum balance at launch (15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or 6 hours; default 1,000 tokens). Cron indexes holders, ranks eligible losers, executes on-chart buys, and airdrops session tokens from your funded wallet on that schedule.

Chart volume

Each cycle swaps pool SOL into your session token via Jupiter before distributing to winners. Lifetime buys are tracked as Gen volume in the catalog.

Dynamic pot

Pool size and min-loss threshold scale together. Bigger funded wallet → bigger payouts → higher bar to qualify.

Pump.fun ready

Live price follows DexScreener across bonding curve and PumpSwap/Raydium migration — no manual pair switch.

Volume engine

Built-in chart volume

When you launch on TopBlast, winner rewards route through your session token. Each cycle executes a Jupiter buy on your chart, then airdrops purchased tokens to the top 3 eligible losers. Lifetime SOL spent on buys is tracked as Gen volume in the catalog.

Every payout cycle buys your token, then airdrops winners

1 · Fund the pool

Creator-fee SOL in your listing payout wallet — you control the budget.

2 · On-chart buyback

Pool SOL swaps into your session token via Jupiter — real chart volume.

3 · Token airdrops

Purchased tokens split 60/25/15 to top eligible losers — wallet-to-wallet, no claim.

Why this matters for launchers

Unlike cashback bots that reward traded volume (often sells), TopBlast rewards underwater holders: winners must hold through drawdown to qualify — and they receive your token from on-chart buys, not rebate-driven exit liquidity. Every cycle adds measurable buy pressure to your chart.

Gen volume

Gen volume is the cumulative SOL the protocol has market-bought into your mint across all payout cycles. It appears on catalog cards and listing stats — proof of recurring buy pressure, not rebates or manual dev buys.

Protocol

How loss-mining works

Three automated steps — track entry, rank drawdown, buy your token on-chart and airdrop winners.

1 · Track entry

VWAP is computed from on-chain buy history via Helius. Sells are ignored for cost basis.

2 · Rank drawdown

Every cycle scans holders. Eligible wallets sort by drawdown % (most underwater first), USD loss tiebreaks.

3 · Blast rewards

Top 3 receive 60/25/15 of the winner pool. Pool SOL swaps into your session token on-chart, then tokens airdrop to winners — no claim step.

VWAP & drawdown

VWAP = Total cost basis / Total tokens bought
Drawdown % = ((Current price − VWAP) / VWAP) × 100

Ranking: most negative drawdown % first → USD loss tiebreaker

Game design

Dynamic pot & eligibility

The pool and qualification threshold move together — you control budget by topping up creator-fee SOL.

Pot size

~99% of the launcher's payout wallet SOL each cycle. Fund the wallet; the protocol handles the rest.

Min loss rule

Underwater loss must be ≥ 10% of live pool USD. $500 pool → ~$50 min loss. $5,000 → ~$500.

Timer

Pick a cycle at launch (15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or 6 hours). Countdown starts when the first eligible holder appears — not at launch. Empty rankings stay in waiting state.

Example

$2,000 pool → ~$200 min loss → 1st place ≈ $1,056 SOL (60% of 88% winner pool after 12% fee).

Eligibility

Who gets paid

Biggest wallet does not win. Every rule below must pass before a wallet enters the leaderboard.

Winners are the top eligible losers by drawdown — not largest balance, not earliest buyer, not most tokens.

  1. 1

    Minimum token balance

Set at /launch (default 1,000 raw tokens). Shown live on each listing's Stats & Leaderboard — locked after creation.

  2. 2

    15 minute hold

From first on-chain buy. Hardcoded — not env-configurable.

  3. 3

    Loss position

Current price below VWAP (underwater vs average buy).

  4. 4

    Dynamic min loss

USD loss ≥ 10% of live pool balance.

  5. 5

    No sells or transfers out

Any sell or outgoing transfer disqualifies immediately.

  6. 6

    Winner cooldown

Previous cycle winners sit out one full cycle.

  7. 7

    Payout frequency

    Set at /launch — 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or 6 hours. Default 15 minutes.

Multi-tenant SaaS

Platform architecture

One stack, many isolated listings. Each token gets its own session, payout wallet, and cron cycle.

Launcher flow

/launch → mint + ticker + payout frequency + min token balance + payout private key (encrypted)
     → /{slug}/leaderboard · stats · history
→ POST /api/cron/tenants (platform cron; each listing uses its chosen interval)

Platform token: configured by operators via server env — session at /leaderboard (also in catalog).

Payout schedules

  • 15 minutes cycles
  • 30 minutes cycles
  • 1 hour cycles
  • 2 hours cycles
  • 4 hours cycles
  • 6 hours cycles

Selected once at launch. Shorter cycles drive engagement; longer cycles create fewer, larger payout moments.

For launchers

  • Pick payout frequency and minimum token balance in the launch form
  • Fund your creator-rewards wallet with SOL
  • Session diagnostics explain empty pool, indexing, or no eligible holders
  • Flat 12% protocol fee each cycle → platform treasury
  • Listings never share holder data or payout keys

For platform token holders

  • 50% of all dev fees → platform token buyback
  • 6% of every community payout pool network-wide
  • 50% of dev fees → infra, security, growth
  • More SaaS tenants → recurring buy pressure on platform token

Security

Keys, encryption & cron auth

Launchers never see platform secrets. Operators configure server-side env only.

Payout key encryption

TopBlast encrypts each launcher's payout private key with AES-256-GCM before MongoDB storage. Keys are decrypted only during that listing's payout cycle. Configured by operators — not exposed to launchers.

Protects against DB leaks — not full server compromise.

Cron authentication

Scheduled jobs call POST /api/cron/tenants with a server-side bearer secret. Prevents public triggering of payouts or snapshots.

Operators configure the secret in deployment env + external cron Authorization header.

Launcher payout key

Submitted at /launch — usually the wallet receiving Pump.fun or Raydium creator fees. TopBlast signs Jupiter swaps and token airdrops from this wallet only. Never logged in plain text.

Platform token

Economics & flywheel

88% of each cycle to eligible winners. 12% protocol fee powers buyback, burn, and platform ops.

Platform fee flywheel

Every SaaS listing pays a flat 12% protocol fee in SOL on each payout cycle. Fees route to the TopBlast platform treasury — half funds platform-token buyback, half funds ops and growth.

Every tenant cycle → 12% SOL to the platform treasury
├─ 6% of original pool (50% of fee) → market-buy platform token
└─ Purchased tokens → burn address / incineratorAutomated — roadmap
└─ 6% of original pool (50% of fee) → ops / infra / growth

Buyback + burn automation is on the roadmap. Dev fees accrue to the platform treasury today; market buys are executed manually until the bot ships.

Win-win thesis

Price pumps — token appreciates, standard upside.

Price dumps — drawdown climbs, eligible holders compete for on-chart buybacks and token airdrops from the pool.

Platform token mint is configured by TopBlast operators in server env when live.

Architecture

Technical stack

Production implementation on Solana mainnet — no mocked chain data in prod.

Data layer

  • MongoDB — holders, snapshots, payouts, tenant keys
  • Helius RPC + DAS — balances & tx history
  • Per-tenant isolation by slug

Price feed

  • DexScreener WebSocket + 1s REST fallback in browser
  • Server: DexScreener → Jupiter → Helius (no TTL cache)
  • Auto pair switch on Pump.fun migration

Runtime

  • Next.js 14 on Vercel
  • Multi-tenant cron /api/cron/tenants
  • Jupiter swaps + SPL token airdrops per cycle

Gen volume is the cumulative SOL TopBlast has spent market-buying your session token via Jupiter across all successful payout cycles. It is stored per tenant and shown in the catalog — a public measure of protocol-driven chart volume, separate from organic trading volume.
